Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is well-known for her parts on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. The only child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her showbiz career from a young age. When she turned 16, Alexandra had landed the leading roles in numerous TV dramas. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was critically as well as critically acclaimed commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated films that feature models. Alexandra is engaged in numerous noteworthy projects, both in the United States as well as internationally. These include British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon among others. The actress also served on the jury at the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
