Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for a long time. Alexandra is well-known for her the roles she played on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the only child to Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the world of show business early, and ended up playing lead roles in different TV dramas before she was sixteen. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for more notable roles like the role of the secretary of Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge in the commercially and critically popular Oscar nominated historical war film Downfall. The Reader as well as Der Baader Meinhof Komplex were also Oscar-nominated. Alexandra is well known for her participation in a variety of notable projects, both in the United States as well as internationally. The projects include British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon, amongst others. Additionally, she was a member of both jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
